We’re now looking for an experienced and strategic Business Analyst to help us define product vision, drive
agile development, and deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions that empower our growing, high
performing engineering and product teams

Position Overview

As a Business Analyst at Vertex IT Solutions, you will play a vital role in analyzing business processes,
gathering and documenting requirements, and ensuring that our technology solutions effectively meet
organizational goals. You will serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, product teams, and
developers to ensure clear communication, well-defined objectives, and successful project delivery.
This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative,
fast-paced environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product
management, design, and QA—to align business goals with technical execution.

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and challenges.
• Conduct requirement analysis sessions, interviews, and workshops to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, process flows, and specifications.
• Ensure that requirements are well-understood, feasible, and aligned with overall business goals.

2. Documentation & Communication

• Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to minimize misunderstandings and risks.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly communicated and implemented.
• Work closely with product owners, project managers, and QA teams to validate deliverables and manage expectations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

4. Process Improvement & Quality Assurance

• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Assist in developing test cases and participate in UAT to ensure solutions meet defined requirements.
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in requirements and suggest effective resolutions.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making and validate business outcomes.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor key metrics and provide insights for ongoing improvement.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or technology-driven organization.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Proficiency in creating business process models, wireframes, and requirement documentation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and UI/UX designers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
