We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and software development practices. This role will focus on designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities

- ● Assist in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
● Support the QA team in functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile applications.
● Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to identify test requirements and acceptance criteria.
● Maintain and update existing automation suites to ensure reliability and reusability.
● Log, track, and verify bugs/issues using defect management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
● Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
● Execute API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured under guidance.
● Ensure that test documentation (test cases, test plans, reports) is clear, accurate, and up-to-date.
● Stay updated with emerging tools and best practices in test automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
● 0–2 years of experience in QA automation (internships or academic projects will be considered).
● Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
● Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
● Understanding of software testing lifecycle, QA methodologies, and SDLC.
● Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) is a plus.
● Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and learn quickly.
