We’re now looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX Designer to help us design intuitive, visually
stunning, and user-centric digital experiences, enhance product usability, and support our growing, high
performing design and development team.
Position Overview
As a UI/UX Designer at Vertex IT Solutions, you will play a key role in designing intuitive, visually appealing,
and user-centred digital experiences for our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for
creating wireframes, prototypes, and final design assets that align with business goals and user needs.
This position requires a creative and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about user experience,
design systems, and interface aesthetics. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers,
and stakeholders to transform ideas into engaging, functional, and visually compelling interfaces that
reflect Vertex’s commitment to quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
1. User Experience Design
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
- Develop user personas, user journeys, and flow diagrams to guide the design process.
- Translate complex requirements into intuitive, easy-to-navigate user experiences.
2. User Interface Design
- Design clean, modern, and consistent UI layouts for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Maintain and enhance design systems, ensuring visual and interaction consistency across all products.
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless handoff and implementation of designs.
3. Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to align design with business and technical requirements.
- Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and reviews to ensure timely delivery of design assets.
4. Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies.
- Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics.
- Contribute to improving overall user experience through innovation and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer in a software or tech company.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience collaborating with front-end developers and product teams.
- Ability to present and explain design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Portfolio showcasing strong UI/UX design skills and real-world project experience.
