Vertex IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven E-Commerce Manager to lead our online sales strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing e-commerce platforms, optimizing online sales channels, and enhancing the customer shopping experience. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and e-commerce trends to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Strategy & Management:

  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize online sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Manage and maintain e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Oversee product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.

Digital Marketing & Sales Optimization:

  • Implement SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media strategies to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Monitor and analyze website analytics, customer behavior, and sales trends to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted online advertising campaigns.

Platform & Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.) and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure smooth integration of payment gateways, inventory management systems, and logistics solutions.
  • Work with web developers to enhance website functionality and resolve technical issues.

Customer Experience & Retention:

  • Improve customer journey by optimizing site navigation, checkout processes, and product recommendations.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
  • Develop loyalty programs and engagement strategies to increase repeat purchases.

Inventory & Order Fulfillment:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams to manage inventory levels efficiently.
  • Ensure timely order processing, shipping, and delivery to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze inventory trends to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Analytics & Performance Tracking:

  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and CRM platforms to track performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales, marketing ROI, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven strategies.

Key Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce management, online sales, or digital marketing.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, and email marketing tools.
  • Understanding of inventory management, payment gateways, and order fulfillment processes.
