Vertex IT Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in recruitment, employee relations, record-keeping, and other HR functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment process.
  • Assist in employee onboarding, including document verification, orientation, and induction sessions.

HR Operations & Employee Relations:

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist in handling employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Support in organizing employee engagement activities and wellness programs.

Attendance & Leave Management:

  • Monitor employee attendance, leaves, and work-from-home requests.
  • Ensure compliance with leave policies and maintain accurate records.
  • Generate attendance and leave reports for HR and management.

Payroll & Compliance Support:

  • Assist in payroll processing by collecting and verifying attendance and leave data.
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures are followed as per company regulations.
  • Support HR compliance and documentation, including contracts, policies, and labor law requirements.

General Administration & Reporting:

  • Maintain HR documentation, including employee contracts, performance reports, and disciplinary records.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for HR and management.
  • Coordinate HR-related meetings, training sessions, and events.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role.

Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software/tools.
    • Knowledge of HR policies, recruitment platforms, and labor laws is a plus.

Soft Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
    • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
