Vertex IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing paid search campaigns to maximize ROI and drive business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and expertise in SEM strategies to enhance online visibility and achieve marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management & Optimization:

  • Develop, implement, and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other PPC platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and ensure effective targeting.
  • Optimize ad copy, bidding strategies, and landing pages to improve quality scores and conversion rates.
  • Monitor and adjust campaigns based on performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, and ROI.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics and other tracking tools.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize ads, landing pages, and bidding strategies.

Market Research & Strategy Development:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices in SEM.
  • Research competitors’ advertising strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop innovative SEM strategies to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with SEO, content, and design teams to ensure cohesive digital marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to align SEM efforts with business goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of campaign performance and budget expenditures.

Key Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in search engine marketing, PPC, or digital advertising.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, bid management, and audience targeting.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
