Vertex IT Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and enhance online visibility. This role requires a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and content optimization techniques to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

On-Page & Technical SEO:

  • Optimize website structure, meta tags, headings, and content for search engine rankings.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and implement SEO best practices.
  • Improve website speed, mobile-friendliness, and technical SEO elements.
  • Perform regular SEO audits to identify and fix issues such as broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building:

  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant websites for guest posting and backlink opportunities.
  • Monitor backlink profiles and disavow toxic links to maintain healthy SEO performance.

Content Optimization & Strategy:

  • Work with content creators to optimize blog posts, landing pages, and website content for SEO.
  • Ensure content aligns with search intent and includes relevant keywords naturally.
  • Implement schema markup and structured data for enhanced search visibility.

Analytics & Performance Tracking:

  • Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tools to track SEO performance.
  • Provide regular reports on keyword rankings, organic traffic, and SEO improvements.
  • Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and identify growth opportunities.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with the web development team to ensure SEO-friendly website updates.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align SEO efforts with broader digital marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.

Key Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Digital Media, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
