We’re now looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to help us expand our
client base, drive revenue growth, and support our growing, high-performing sales and business strategy
teams.

Position Overview

As a Business Development Manager at Vertex IT Solutions, you will play a critical role in driving revenue
growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic relationships with clients. You will be
responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client partnerships, and ensuring
the successful positioning of Vertex’s technology solutions in the market.
This position requires a proactive, results-driven, and strategic professional who thrives in a fast-paced
sales environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, product,
and delivery—to convert opportunities into long-term business success and support the company’s growth
objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and partnership opportunities.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and propose tailored technology solutions that align with business goals.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and ongoing business expansion.

3. Sales Strategy & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach campaigns and sales materials.
  • Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and proposals.
  • Provide input on pricing strategies, proposals, and service offerings.
  • Participate in internal strategy sessions to refine market positioning and sales direction.

4. Proposal Development & Documentation

  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases for prospects.
  • Lead RFP/RFQ responses in coordination with technical teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of opportunities, negotiations, and client communications.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and achievement of targets.
  • Analyze business performance and market data to support decision-making.
  • Provide insights on customer needs and competitive positioning to drive continuous improvement.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes.
  • Continuously refine sales strategies and outreach methods for maximum effectiveness.
  • Participate in professional development and sales training sessions to enhance skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management—preferably in IT, software, or technology services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales, solution selling, and technology-driven business models.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and manage long sales cycles.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
